Dear Bean – Week Twenty Two

Dear Bean

Twenty-Two weeks! This week you’ve really started to be active. I have an anterior placenta, so those first movements were cushioned, meaning I didn’t really feel very much until recently. You’re apparently making up for lost time, however!  It’s good to feel you wriggling around in there {not so much when I wake at 6 am to you using my full bladder for kickboxing practice}

I’m feeling pretty much ok. Tired, but that’s to be expected. Emotional – but that’s to be expected too!

I have days when I wonder how on earth I’m going to manage a baby alongside everything else. But I’m trying not to worry too much, as I know things have a way of working out, and in all honesty, when you’re a Mama you just get on and do whatever needs doing.

Still, it would be nice to have someone to share this with – the kiddos are excited, but I can’t share my worries with them!

I’m sure these next few months are going to fly by, and while I can’t wait to hold you in my arms, I’m trying to enjoy these last few months before our ‘normal’ gets turned upside down!
