our home is always full of music, there’s nearly always vinyl playing and someone strumming away on a guitar. my girls all love listening to music – their most requested right now range from Iron Maiden to Dolly Parton ;) They’re getting a great musical education!

they were excited when the postman delivered this gorgeous melody xylophone from plan toys yesterday. plan toys were the first company in the world to manufacture wooden toys from preservative-free rubberwood. they make educational and developmental wooden toys, using environmentally friendly, green methods.

the xylophone is beautifully made, the notes are true to scale and i love the way that it sits easily on a littles knee. it came with some music sheets – baya especially loved playing jingle bells – she keeps asking when it’s christmas again!

it seems strong and sturdy and i’ll definitely buy from plan toys again!
