Let’s go glamping

We’re almost set for a weekend camping at Camp Bestival. There’s a big pile of stuff gathered ready in my living room {you can see our packing list HERE} I’m definetly more of a glamping girl than a roughing it girl. I love camping BUT I do like a few creature comforts. I decorate our pitch with some bunting and solar powered fairy lights. Duvets for me {I have a pink 70s vintage one that is my favourite to take}, lots of blankets for chilly www.trendingdownward.com/med/ evenings and cushions to make it comfy. A pretty {and practical} rag rug for the front door. Colourful plastic glasses are much cuter than melamine mugs too! Wellies are kind of a festival essential and what better than a pair of Hunter Boots? Plus a pretty, boho backpack to carry essentials around in all day long and dry shampoo to keep you looking fresh as a daisy! How about you – do you like roughing it, or do you prefer your creature comforts?

What a lovely, colourful collection – I’ve yet to brave camping with the kiddos, but that quilt would certainly be on my list. Love it all!

Definitely comforts for me! Love those plastic glasses, I’m waiting till the end of the summer when places like B&M sell them off for 20p each :)

I’m with you on the glamping front – the more pretty, comforting things I can take with me (or are provided for me) the better. I want to come camping with you – it sounds like you might just have the prettiest pitch there!

You’re going to have the nicest tent there! Those rugs remind me of being a student, I had loads, all scattered in my room, so colourful.

Yup, I’m all about the creature comforts – just a few added touches to make you feel at home but not enough to feel like you can never pack it all ever again.

Love all the colours and the solar-powered lights in particular. That’s a really good idea. I don’t mind camping, but would prefer to ‘glamp’ it up a bit to make sure my children are comfy.

I have a think for fairy lights. Even better if they are solar powered. Lovely collection overall.

I have to agree I love to make our tent feel homely and comfortable. We bring a little rug, lots of blankets and have invested in a good airbed ( have to be able to sleep well) as well as lights and lanterns and a few other bits and bobs from home.

Can’t wait to read all about your amazing time at Camp bestival – hope it all goes well :)
