Friday I’m in Love + Life lately

Happy Friday guys …. it’s been a funny week, in some ways it feels like forever since Monday, yet in other ways, it has flown by. We spent last weekend at my Dad’s – it was the first time we’d been back this year, so it was lovely to spend some time with him, and the kiddos had fun playing with their cousins. By the time we came home we were all exhausted, and other family stuff over the weekend left my anxiety playing up. So it’s been an odd week, not helped by being ridiculously tired and hormonal – plus I’ve just lowered my meds so all in all I’ve been feeling a little fragile this week.

Still, we’ve had a good few days, caught up on some work since we got home, there’s been baking and crafts and we had a fun day celebrating the Summer Solstice yesterday. The girls and I got up at 4 am to see the sunrise, sat in the garden around a fire, then, later on, we took a picnic lunch to the park and had another fire in the evening.

And now it’s the end of the week. Kiki is going away with the guides tonight for the weekend, I don’t really know what the rest of us have planned asides from Baya’s gymnastics tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed for sunshine, so we can spend some time outdoors.
