What I’m wearing ~ An outfit for a night out

Hey there! It’s been a looooong time since I did any kind of what I wore/fashion type post! So hopping in with the first one for this year {hopefully they’ll be more?!}. I tend to live in jeans, tees, and cardigans day to day – working from home/homeschooling means there isn’t much point in dressing up all fancy! I’m actually in need of a serious wardrobe declutter again {last time I decluttered it was lifechanging!} as half of the stuff in there is way too big these days.

So when Tobi got in touch and asked if I’d like to collaborate I jumped at the chance. For one it meant I could add a couple of new pieces {that fit} to my wardrobe PLUS it would make me get in front of the camera for an outfit post. It was fun to dress up and do my hair and make-up too! {this is my favourite make-up brand!}

After much deliberating over what items I wanted to pick, I finally narrowed it down. I have a night out planned in a month for my birthday {we’re off to see Sabrina Benaim – I’m so excited!} and new I wanted to get something new for that. When my kiddos were out the other day, I had a bit of a dress-up session to see how well the clothes fitted and looked – I was pretty pleased with what I choose!

First up I picked this gorgeous Above It All Print Shift Dress from Tobi, it’s dressy enough for a night out, but would also work paired with jeans and my Birkenstocks in the summer. I’ve been on a mission to add more colour to my wardrobe and I love the shade of this.

I also picked the Kassie Sleeveless Top from Tobi – I do love a striped top! The detailing on this on the back makes it stand out from all my other striped tops, and I think it would work for a casual night out too. I love that it shows off some of the tattoos on my back as they don’t get seen very often. Teamed with my favourite clogs and this Warehouse coat to keep me warm, I think this is what I’ll be wearing for my night out.

Finally, I got this Tobi Over You Overlap T-Shirt Dress, while I won’t wear this on a night out, it’s perfect for lazy days at home, teamed with jeans or my favourite yoga leggings. It’s a gorgeous colour, and I love the overlap detailing on it.

Which is your favourite outfit of these three?

Thanks to Tobi.com for sending me these clothes. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
