Review | ReStyle – Retro Prints + a giveaway
One of my favourite prints that I have hanging in my house is this ‘Some Like It Hot’ coffee print. It arrived, mysteriously, a few years ago… it was obviously bought for me as a gift, but I’m not sure by whom… anyway, fast forward a couple of years, and when we moved to this house {and finally had wall space in the kitchen} I re-framed it and hung it up again – it looks perfect in this little corner, nestled amongst my cookbooks and my string of hearts plant. Just before Christmas, Jan from ReStyle {an Etsy Shop full of retro prints} got in touch to say hi and ask if I was interested in collaborating with him and reviewing a couple of his prints… and I recognised my print! I said yes straight away, as his shop is chock-a-block full of some gorgeous artwork, and I’ve been searching for a few new pieces for this house.
ReStyle is stocked with a huge selection of prints, it was really difficult to pick just three that I liked. In the end I opted for this cool Star Wars print that I knew would be perfect in our den/G’s man cave {!!}, this gorgeous Russian Doll print which I’m thinking of putting either in the upstairs bathroom or toilet, and then the ‘Make Tea, Not War’ which is going to go in my kitchen alongside the print I already have.
Aren’t they gorgeous?! They’re all bright and colourful, a little quirky and retro, and quite honestly, some of the best prints I’ve come across. I’ve a few more ear-marked for the kids rooms later in the year when we get around to doing some decorating.
