Fire in the Mountain Festival

The first festival of the year, and probably our favourite one we go to each year. Fire in the Mountain, set in a glorious spot in the mountains near Aberystwyth is the best way to start the summer. We spent 8 whole days there camping, whilst I worked and then enjoyed the festival then worked some more.

There was rain for the first few days we were there, but then the sun shone and all was good. THere’s nothing that makes me feel more alive than a weekend at such a wonderful festival. We hung out with our group of friends, made new ones, listened to some fabulous music, paddled in the river, ate a Sunday Roast in a field, partied hard, drank lots of mead, laughed and talked and made so many great memories.

The boys had so much fun, with a group of friends there to hang out with, and a safe environment for them, they could just run wild and free all weekend and enjoy themselves {and eat all the ice cream!}.

I even managed to get the girls to babysit a couple of nights so I could go out out too! I danced my little socks off on Sunday night in the Speakeasy and had an absolute blast.

Once again, I failed at taking many photos – I did grab a couple though! We’re counting down to 2025 already
