15 fantastic crafts to keep your kids busy this summer!

Where The Wild Things Are tutorial

Even though my kids don’t go to school, we still usually take the summer ‘off’ – we’re generally busy with holidays, catching up with friends, summer activities and {hoepfully} enjoying the sunshine! I still like to have some fun activities planned, to fill those days we spend at home with nothing particular to do {they are my favourite kind of day}, and if your kids who are used to the business of school having a list of ideas to fill those six long weeks can be a lifesaver. I’ve rounded up a few activites that are perfect to keep your kids occupied this summer

1| Pressed flower pictures – my girls love collecting flowers and leaves on our nature walks, and this is a great idea for what to do with them once they’re pressed.

2| I love this fun Jellyfish Suncatcher idea!

3| Why not use up some of your milk bottle tops and make a easy Hot Air Ballon picture – perfect for toddlers and younger children.

4| Tube dolls are so easy to make and a great way to use up old loo rolls – check out our Where The Wild Things tube dolls!

5| If your kids love playing with dolls – why not get them to make one of these great doll beds out of sticks!

6| I love this fairy tree house, and I know my 7-year-old would too!

7| If your kids are like mine, they love an excuse to raid the button jar – this is a great idea for some button art

8| These no-sew tutu’s are bound to be a hit {especially as you can make a matching one for a doll or teddy

9| Cool down with these cute Ice Lolly hama bead designs

10| Cardboard boxes are always popular with my kids – why not turn them into some gorgeous playhouses?

11| Another idea for using up some flowers – these flower suncatchers are gorgeous and eas yto make.

12| Popsicle stick ballerinas?! You could create all sorts of characters in a similar way!

13| Dish soap silly putty is bound to keep them entertained for at least an afternoon!

14| Turn a simple paper plate into these amazing super hero masks

15| I love these homemade ribbon wands so much!
