Dream Bedrooms

My middle two have shared a bedroom for the past 5 years, while they both would love a space of their own, they also both end up snuggled up in one bed together every night! When we moved house, we gave the two of them the master bedroom, it seemed fair that they had the biggest room as they were sharing and also spend much more time in their room than I spend in mine.

We swapped out their old bunk bed for our old king size bed as they like to bed share, though we have plans on getting them cabin beds next year. It would mean they can have half of the bedroom each, giving them some space of their own. We’re thinking of putting up some kind of temporary room divider, either a shelves, curtains or even a screen.

One rainy morning last week, I asked them to draw me their dream bedroom – both opted for cabin beds, twirly chairs, funky rugs and posters on the walls!

Here’s Kiki’s:

We’ve been looking  at options for the cabin beds, and found these ones we love at ASPACE. We put together a little wishlist for their dream bedroom! I love the chalkboard shelf unit and the ‘Rules to Grow By’ poster too! I better get saving ;)
