Yesterday afternoon’s walk in the woods {with next doors dog!}

Planning: Our trip next week to my sisters. It’s just the kiddos and I, we’re meeting my Mum in London and travelling the rest of the way to Kent with her. Looking forward to a few days away, catching up and the girls having fun with their cousins! We don’t get to see family very often, so we’ll be making the most of it.

Knitting: I’ve a gorgeous honeycomb pattern blanket on my needles right now, also have a new cowl on the go ready for the cold weather! I’ve been making lots of i-cord bracelets lately too!

Thinking about: We’ve a few more weeks of summertime here, but I’m starting to feel the pull of the end of summer. Beginning to think about our homeschooling plans for the coming year, making some lists of goals and topics we want to look at. I’ll be mapping some of our ‘schedules’ for learning out and sharing them in a few weeks time. The kiddos I know are looking forward to their outside groups starting back up, I’d like to set up a nature study group of some kind locally perhaps… that needs planning too.

Eating: Courgettes, salad, strawberries, eggs…. all fresh from the garden! We got back from holiday to an abundance of food ready for picking and eating – no complaints from me, nothing beats fresh produce from the garden!

Listening to: Joni Mitchell and Neil Young – since I got home on Tuesday night, my vinyls have been spinning non-stop, loving me some old tunes. I love that the kiddos sing right along too :)

Loving: How great this summer has been. The weather has been amazing {after last years wash-out of a summer}, we’ve had some great trips, great times with friends and spent so much time by the river. This mama is happy! I couldn’t ask for more {well, maybe that summer lasts another month or two before the rain and cold sets in!}

Feel free to share your ‘currently’ posts with me! I’d love to read them.
