Theme park fun
Are you a family of adrenalin junkies? If so, a trip to a theme park could be right up your street. With many top-notch amusement parks dotted around the globe, you won’t be short of choice but if you’re looking for an unforgettable experience, a trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida is an absolute must. A spectacular entertainment complex offering everything from high-speed rides to animal parks, it has something for all ages and is the perfect reason to head across the pond
A cycle adventure
If you love getting out and about on your bikes and love nothing more than the wind blowing through your hair as you gather pace, a cycle adventure could be something to consider. While the National Geographic’s top ten cycle routes might leave you inspired to pack your bags and head somewhere exotic, you could always look for great cycle destinations closer to home. The Lake District and the Peak District, for instance, offer miles of countryside to explore and you could even stop off at a cosy country pub for a bite to eat on the way home.
Beach banter
When the sun’s in the sky, what could be better than a trip to the beach? While the adults lie on sun loungers and feel the heat on their backs, the kids can build sandcastles, splash in the sea and hunt for shells. There’s something for everyone at the coast and while you’re sure to get a stick of rock and some candy floss at the like of Skegness and Blackpool you could enjoy a fish meze lunch along the Cyprus shores or some delicious homemade ice cream in the Costa del Sol.
Extraordinary heights
Want something to talk about when you get home? Then why not head to the world’s tallest building in Dubai and see the world from an extraordinary height? The Burj Khalifa stands at a whopping 829.8 metres high and with an observation deck on the 124th floor you’ll be able to experience Dubai like never before. Moreover, if you don’t fancy a long plane journey or want to hop on the Eurostar, you could always visit the Eiffel Tower in Paris and enjoy spectacular views across the city of love.
Wet and wild
What would a holiday be without a good splash in a swimming pool or the sea? There’s something remarkable about bobbing about in the waves but if clear blue waters are what you’re looking for, how about visiting the Caribbean? It’s a great place for snorkelling and with plenty of family accommodation available you’re sure to feel right at home in this beautiful part of the world. Alternatively, water parks such as Beach Park in Brazil featuring the tallest (135 feet) and fastest (65mph) water slide in the world or the Etnaland waterpark in Italy could also do the trick.
Family holidays are a great way to bond and make memories of a lifetime, so what you waiting for? Get something in the diary today and enjoy a trip of a lifetime.
