Oren Sage Malachi – Twelve Week Update

Twelve Weeks!! Not sure how that happened, but here we are! Oren is still a happy little fella. He’s turning into a little chatterbox – he loves having a good natter with the bigger kids and gives them the biggest smiles when he sees them. He loves playing under his play gym – the other evening he was laid on my bed, and was looking at his play gym and shouting until I put it over him!

We’re still on 2/3 night feeds, but generally, he’s only up for 10 minutes at a time and settles straight back down, so I’m getting some sleep in between time. He settles for the night around 9/half past, then feeds around 1 and 4 – sometimes he’ll sneak an extra one in, and then is up about 7am for the day. Mostly I’m coping with the lack of sleep, though on occasion it catches up with me and I have to try and sneak a nap in if possible!

He’s still feeding really well. I feed on demand, and he’ll cluster feed more in the evenings. I’m thinking of trying to introduce a bottle soon, just so that I can leave him for little bits if I need to.

He’s growing well, he’s in 3-6 month sized clothing, and is such a happy chappy. I can see how much he’s already watchign the big kids and all they do. We can’t wait for him to be that little bit bigger so he can sit and play more, be at the table when we eat… all those things! It’ll soon come though, time is racing past so quickly. These first twelve weeks have flown by.
