Late summer plans – The Good Life Experience

You might have noticed that one of the things on our summer manifesto I shared yesterday was to end our summer off at The Good Life Experience. A weekend of discovery & discovery, food, music & books – it’s the perfect way to round off our summer! We went last year, and it was a fun weekend, although the timing last year as my marriage was crumbling meant I didn’t enjoy it as much as I would of, still it was a welcome escape from reality for a few days.

We’re lucky as it is just up the road from us, set in the grounds of the Hawarden Farm Estate, a beautifully idyllic setting for a festival. ONe of the best things about the festival is once you are in al all the activities are free and open to everyone! The kids loved the vintage fairground last year and are so happy it will be there again! THere is also tree climbing, a circus school, campfire cooking sessions, sketchbook club, woodcraft, candle making, poetry and the world’s smallest nightclub and so much more – that’s not to mention any of the fabulous music you can listen to or the delicious food available! The Good LIfe is such a wonderful weekend, perfectly relaxing, full of the festival atmosphere, with so many new skills to try out, so much delicious food to sample, plenty of good music to sit back and enjoy and the perfect backdrop to make you never want to leave. It really is a perfect weekend to round of your summer. Tickets start at £104 for adults, and £44.50 for youths {with under 11’s going free} – you can also take 10% off the cost with the code ‘PIXIE’. Tickets can be purchased HERE.

Let me know if you’re going – it would be lovely to have some friendly faces to say hi to!
