Friday Finds

friday-finds

Friday again. This past week has been pretty successful… there has been lots of work, lots of giggles, a little {ahem, lot} of cake baking, and lots of things being ticked off the to-do list. We’ve really hit our groove with this new rhythm now, and as a whole, life is pretty good. We’re busy making new traditions, new memories, filling our days with fun and positivity – sometimes I catch myself and realised how far we’ve come, and just how different {and better} life is than 5/6 months ago.

I’m still waiting for my den to be emptied, it’s currently storing their Dad’s stuff, and we are itching to get it empty, clean and turned into an art space for us all to use – and also I cannot wait to move the drum kit down there, as it’s right at the back of the house, and Baya’s drumming gets a little much sometimes!

Now I’m ready for the weekend, it’s lovely having Lola around in the day time after a school week, and weekends are always relaxing and fun. Friday nights are mine and Lola’s TV night – we’re working our way through Pretty Little Liars right now. Baya has her Gym Grading on Saturday, the other kids and I are planning on going to the 1 Billion Rising event here. Sunday the little three will see their Dad for a couple of hours, so Lola and I might go out for coffee and cake, then we always end the weekend with a picnic dinner and an episode of Series of Unfortunate Events. Bliss.
