Celebrating Britains Superpowers with npower

The kids and I were excited to be asked to be a part of npowers new campaign, celebrating Briatins Superpowers! The campaign celebrates the fun, practical, clever and entertaining everyday superpowers that Britain’s families have, and gives them a few more ideas!

They found that we are nation of dad dancers and lipsyncers with these being cited as the skills or everyday superpowers Brits can do, with 37% of dads believing they have the ‘moves’ to cut shapes on the dance floor and a further 48% who wouldn’t think twice about performing Saturday Night Fever in front of the kids.

To celebrate these talents, npower has enlisted the help of Peter Andrew to find and share Britain’s everyday superpowers. The wonderful, quirky, clever, interesting, not to mention practical skills that families have.

It made us think about our own superpowers, we all have them – but maybe we dont’ htink of them as a superpower, or maybe we’re a little to shy to share them with everyone else. Apparantly, the top five superpowers that Brits wish they had are:

1. Photographic memory

2. Back flipping

3. Doing the splits

4. Hula hooping

5. Moonwalking

Npower are embarking on a nationwide tour with TV Presenter and family man, Peter Andre. The road shows, in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle will look to encourage Brits across the country to showcase their super power at dedicated npower ‘super power’ booths for the chance of winning a home gadget package worth £25,000 to super power your home. The roadshow dates are:

Birmingham – Grand Central – Friday 28th to Sunday 30th Oct.
London – Bluewater – Friday 4th to Sunday 6th November
Manchester – Arndale – Friday 11th to Sunday 13th November
Newcastle – Metro centre – Friday 18th to Sunday 20th November
