Review | Oblumi Tapp

At the time, all I had was a basic forehead strip thermometer, that I’d be struggling to read in the middle of the night and remembering how long since I took her temp last and what it was. If only I’d had this great Oblumi Tapp then. It’s an amazing device, that when it is connected to a smart phone, converts into digital infrared thermometer with a range of capabilities from measuring the ear, fore head and even the temperature of liquids.
Opperated through a free app that you download to your phone, and has a range of great features:
It takes an accurate temperature, in just a few seconds by placing it on your forehead or in your ear.
It calculates the correct medicine dosage based on patients data.
It displays the temperature data history and medication taken, so that your fever can be followed up correctly and the information passed to a medical professional.
You can create a profile for each of your children, and share them with other users {such as their other parent}
You can set an alarm to remind you to take temperatures or give medicine.
Compatible with the Apple and Android iOS systems, you can also access detailed information from any personal computer or tablet. Oblumi Cloud synchronises the data between all devices.
It checks the temperature of liquids. How many times have you been worried that the baby’s bottle is too hot or the bath water is too cold? With Oblumi tapp you can take the temperature of any liquid with the same accuracy and speed.
It was straightforward and quick to download the app, connect the device to my phone and set up a profile. I tested it out taking Baya and Beastie’s temperatures {they thought it was great!} and was really impressed with the speed and accuracy. When you have sick children, you dont want to spend ages faffing trying to take their temperatures, and this Oblumi Tapp really takes the stress out of it.
It costs just £39.99 which I think is excellent value for money, and you can purchase one here.
