Review| TOMY Toddler Toys – & a giveaway!
TOMY kindly sent Vega a couple of new toys the other week, a Sort & Pop Octopus and the Fix and Load Tow Truck. When I unpacked them from the box he was busy playing with something else. As soon as he saw them he literally dropped what he had and started playing with the Octopus before I’d even taken it out of the box!
The Sort and Pop Spinning Top is a shape sorting octopus. It’s a great way for toddlers to learn colours and shapes, as well as encourage logical thinking and hand-eye coordination. It’s lovely and colourful, and is battery-free {always a good thing in my book!}. Once all the shapes are fitted in the correct holes, you can push down on the octopuses head, he spins round and they all pop out. Vega thinks this is hilarious!
The Fix and Load Tow Truck is fun too, Vega loves cars and wheels at the minute, so this was perfect. A fun 3 in 1 toy, it kept him occupied for a long time. You can push the truck and it glides along, use the driver to wind up the car and push the button to make it move on its own, and clip the car onto the tow truck, wind up and push the button and the tow truck moves by itself.

March 11, 2016 at 18:59I babysit both my grandson and my niece and they both love anything that crinkles, especially the Lamaze book. I enjoy seeing their little faces when they are playing. The activity centre keeps them amused for a short while but I like to spend quality time with them both and watch them develop.
