Thanks to those of you who linked up with last month’s This Homeschooling Life. I’m loving this linky – personally, it’s a great way for me to stop and see what we’ve done through the month. Life is hectic and it’s easy to rush along and feel like you haven’t achieved much of anything. October was one of those months – it flew by before I’d even really noticed it began. We’ve been busy busy busy and yet I don’t feel like we did much last month. It’s also lovely to see what Homeschooling looks like for other families.
It’s nice to look at these photos and realise we did do a few things at least! The big kiddos all have their ‘school work’ that they do in the mornings if we’re home – some Maths & English and any projects we’re working on. They can all get on with these even if I’m caught up with house/work/baby stuff which is great.
We’ve managed a few arty projects this month – a couple of things I’ll be sharing later on the blog, as well as the cute hedgehog below that Baya made! We also made some apple print bunting to hang in the playroom. Lola had some artwork on display in an exhibitoin at the local library, we’ve had study dates with friends, nature walks, lots of baking, a few trips out and lots of reading time.
I always find come Autumn, we start to spend more time at home and do more crafts and projects – through the summer we make the most of the {hopefully} better weather to get out and about more.
This Homeschooling Life is a linky for you to share either a week, a day or just a moment from your life as a homeschooling family. We are hoping it will be a really nice way to discover new blogs and learn how we all do things differently. We’d love you to link up with us and share what homeschooling looks like for your family.
The linky will open at 8amon the first Monday of every month and throughout the rest of the month the hosts will share your posts on their social media channels.
I have really been enjoying reading about what other families get up to too, and we are the same about this time of year. We just want to stay indoors and do loads of crafting. That hedgehog is so cute!x
