Vega – 10 month update!
Happy 10 months Mr Beastie!! I’m loving this age, he is SO much fun right now! I can’t quite get my head around the fact we only have two more months to go until his birthday though. The two of us took a train trip to Bristol the other week, it was lovely to spend some time with just him as at home I don’t always get a look in. He loves going to visit his sisters in their bedrooms – they all have toys that he loves to go and check in on – he gets very cross if they’re not where they should be when he goes to look!
He loves to play games with us now, peepo and bouncing on the bed are his favourites! I love when he’s in with one of the girls and you can hear them giggling away together.
He’s still waking up at night, usually only twice which isn’t too bad. We’re all settled into a pretty good routine – often in the day he’ll crawl around the house playing, wathcing his girls and seeing what’s going on and I can sit and do a little work.
He still loves his food, he usually has porridge and fruit for breakfast, eggy bread/a sandwich and some crudites and a yogurt for lunch, then he’ll eat what we eat for dinner, just a little mushed up with lots of finger foods on the side. He likes a fruit pouch for pudding, or sometimes I’ll make him banana custard which he LOVES!
He has 5 teeth {very sharp ones at that} through now, and can get around the house holding on to walls and furniture way to fast! I’m hoping the next two months don’t go to fast… I’m not ready to have a 1 year old just yet!

Reminds me of when my little one was about his age, bouncing about in his cot and crawling in every nook and cranny he could fit into (and a few he couldn’t).

November 2, 2015 at 10:57Oh what a sweetie! I found the first year went so slowly until the 10 month mark, then it rocketed! Now Abbie is 3 and I keep saying she’s 2 to people by accident, it’s like i’ve missed a whole year! You’re lucky he only wakes up a few times in the night, Abbie still wakes up occasionally now, even at 2 years old she was up 15-20 times a night sometimes! It was exhausted (still is) haha. x
