The Fashion Undateables

The House of Fraser are running a competition – ‘The Fashion Undateables‘. They’re asking for help to dress one of two ‘undateable’ guys, who so far have been unlucky in love. I decided to pick out a new outfit from House of Fraser Menswear for Melvin {it was the beard that did it!} a 35 year old ‘keen traveller’. I opted for smart casual – smart enough to wear out for to a bar, but comfy enough for a long walk by the river after.

First dates should be relaxed – you don’t want to be stuck in a posh restaurant, feeling totally out of place. A drink in a funky bar, or an afternoon coffee in a coffee shop. Then after, take a stroll by the river, maybe grab an ice-cream and talk and talk and talk some more.

Jeans – I do love a man in jeans. As long as they are good jeans, not ones your dad might wear! These Tommy Hilfiger Jeans fit the bill perfectly.

A sexy white t-shirt and a plaid flannel shirt over – smart, cute and just hte right side of rugged.

I’ve finished the date outfit off with a pair of lace-up brogue boots and a chunky watch.

Perfect – I’d def take Melvin on a date if he was dressed in this {and I wasn’t already taken ;)}
