Bathroom Inspiration
I’ve been crushing lately on subway tiles – they seem to keep popping up in my Instagram and Pinterest feeds… there’s something about that in a bathroom that I really love. Our bathroom is probably one of my least favourite rooms in the house. Being a rental, there’s not much we can do about it. It’s a small, dark room, in need of a new suite and all the dark wood ripping out. My dream bathroom would have white subway tiles, a wooden floor, a roll top bath and lots of natural light.
As a mama, one of my favourite ‘me-time’ activities is to escape to the bathroom for a soak in a hot bath, candles burning and some special bubble bath to soak in. I’ve been window shopping for some new bathroom accessories, while I can’t replace the bathroom suite right now, I can add in a gorgeous ombre shower curtain and some decadent looking glass jars. We always seem to have a million bottles and jars on the side and this storage basket would contain some of it and look much prettier {and tidier!}. I love fluffy grey towel to wrap up in after a bath, and I’m loving this heart light pull.

March 12, 2015 at 20:39Yes, yes, YES. We’re currently in the process of getting our bathroom spruced up and installing a new shower so I’m on the lookout for new tiles. I can feel the pull of subway tiles and know it’s a matter of time before I buy some!
