Blog Highlights of 2014

This month marks five years of blogging on this little blog… I love being able to look back on the past year, see all of the adventures we had, all the memories we created and how we’ve all grown and changed over the course of a year. It’s the best kind of diary, and I hope that the kiddos will love looking back on it when they’re grown up and seeing all the love and fun we had as a family. Here’s a few highlights from 2014…

January

I started my 52 Project

I shared a recipe for Homemade Chai Concentrate

And a DIY essential oil rememdy for cold sores

February

Shared two sweet valentine printables

Talked about what motivates me to workout

Answered some questions on Homeschooling

And we made these delicious Granola Bars

March

We took a trip to Bristol to meet up with some fab bloggy friends

How I avoid Creative Burnout

We celebrated Baya turning 5 and me turning 33!

April

We went to the fun fair

And made these beautiful Spring Flower Catchers

And these

May

I made a homemade version of Nakd Bars – so yummy!

We got a new Kitten

And I went to Blogtacular!

Miss Lola turned 11!

June

We had a day out in the woods

And I got an important lesson in slowing down

We announced that we were expecting baby number four!!!

July

We shared our Summer Bucket List

And I started my Maternity Series

I shared a packing list for going to a festival, and talked about feeding a family there too

I talked about the essentials that had gotten me through my first trimester

August

We went to Camp Bestival

And found out we were expecting a boy!

We went for a picnic with friends at the river.

September

Shared my second trimester essentials

And a maternity ‘what mama wore

The nesting bug hit and I started with our kitchen

We made a delicious veggie chilli and cornbread – perfect for autumn!

October

I shared my Red Hair Care Tips

We went on holiday to Center Parcs

And took a fun road trip

I shared my third trimester essentials

And talked about why we use cloth nappies

November

Talked about how we were trying to eat less dairy products

Shared the boho Mobile I made for Beastie’s room

Discussed why we try and eat together as a family every day.

I talked about the importance of ‘Me Time

And I shared my tips for making it through the last month of pregnancy.

December

I shared a few gift guides for the holiday season

We made these gorgeous festive snow jars, chocolate bark AND the most delicious Ginger Pudding Cupcakes!

I talked about our Christmas Stocking Tradition and shared some favourtie festive tunes and movies

We celebrated Christmas

And finally welcomed our fourth baby in to the world!
