Friends that babysit – Papa and I snuck for a last night out before this baby arrives on Tuesday to go see The Levellers… it was an amazing gig, even though it’s taken me all week to recover!
A finished nursery – we finally got some carpet down in there – just awaiting a new crib for Beastie to arrive and then I’ll share some photos.
Tick tick tick… I’ve very nearly almost ticked off all the things on my ‘get done before baby arrives’ list – YAY!
Millionaires Shortbread Mocha – um… yes please and thankyou
Kiddos who like to sleep in – this Mama is not an early bird
Crisp, clear autumn days – I really love this time of year, when the trees are almost bare, the sun is shining and you can see your breath in front of you
An open fire- nothing beats sitting in front of it on a chilly evening
Exciting opportunities – blessed to have this job
New coat!!! To be precise – this Boden one – it’s being kept for after this baby is here – and I can’t wait to wear it!
Grateful it’s Friday, even though our Saturdays are busy, I always look forward to a slightly lazier weekend ;)
What a lovely list, with such good things to choose from – friends who babysit and special millionaires shortbread would do it for me! Hope you have a lovely weekend.
I used to live round the corner from The Levellers when I was a teenager :) My best friend knew them because she worked in the shop across the road from where they lived and she got quite friendly with them for a while :)
It’s a great feeling when you’re ‘ready’ for baby in fact I think they sometimes sense it so watch out when you’ve finally ticked that last tick off! :)
