Keeping the magic of Santa alive

I remember being little and being SO excited come Christmas Eve to think that Santa was on his way! December was always such a magical time, not just excitement about the gifts I hoped he was going to leave but the whole build up was special. I can remember Christmas Eve’s – leaving out the mince pie, whiskey and carrots, waiting to here his bells ringing that he was on his way and then rushing up to bed.

I’ve always tried to recreate that magic and excitement for my girls. My biggest two are at that point where they’re not entirely sure they believe anymore… though Lola really, really wants too.
