Nursery Inspiration

I’ve mentioned already that we’ve been getting a space ready for baby. While we don’t have a room spare to turn into a full nursery, we do have a little nook off our bedroom that will be where it sleeps for the next year or so. Just enough room for a bed, which is all baby really needs to start with!!

I’ve been browsing online at nursery items – it never hurts to look right?! While we don’t plan on buying a cot I did fall in love with this beautiful sleigh cot bed. As we co-sleep, we don’t really have bneed for a cot. Our baby’s have a moses basket for when they’re tiny, then we just have a cot mattress that is straight on the floor in their nook for when they’ve outgrown the basket. Means Mama can lay down to snuggle them if they want to sleep in there ;)

Now the walls in the nook are painted, I’m on the lookout for some art to hang in there. These two are top of my list, I especially love the moon print! I also want to pick up a mobile to hang over the bed, and maybe a garland to hang high up.

I’ve hung a pair of mustard coloured, vintage curtains up, but think that I need to get a blackout blind too – loving this cloud print one!

The one item I really need is a dresser – right now I have no where to store baby’s things! Add a cute rug in and I think we’ll be set!

We’re getting a mattress on the floor for Ophelia too for when we start putting her in a separate room for the first sleep of the night. Lovely choices.
