Mellow Yellow
I’ve been lusting over a vintage yellow couch for a long time, there’s something about the colour that I just love. In my dark living room that doesn’t get much natural light, I think a bright, sunny sofa would make a huge difference. Especially compared to the dark blue ones I have currently. I’ve mentioned before how much I don’t like them, and found myself searching Pinterest the other night for some eye candy to cheer me up! One day I hope to convince Papa that a yellow sofa {or two} is a must!!
For now, I’ve made do with two new mustard coloured throws that I’m {in}patiently waiting to arrive in the post. The benefit of these is that I can throw them in the wash when they inevitably end up with drinks spilt on them, or mucky finger marks! I’m hoping that new throws will brighten the place up, and bring a touch of sunshine into our home.

May 11, 2014 at 07:40I love yellow too, and orange (we have an orange sofa in a light grey and light blue room, for contrast). I also love the use of wicker in these pictures, really underrated home decor material at the moment!
