London Retro & a giveaway

win! london retro glasses

I’ve needed glasses for years, had many pairs, yet still none I really like or actually wear. I’m terribly short sighted, and I’ve lost count of the times people tell me they saw me but I didn’t see them, or I wave at people who it turns out I don’t know :/ I fell in love with the London Retro range as soon as I saw them. I’ve bought glasses online before, and the problem I found was that I couldn’t try them out first to see if I liked them on me.

glasses direct home trial

Glasses Direct offer a free home trial. You can pick up to four pairs, which they will send out to you {with clear lenses} for seven days to try out. The hardest part was picking four pairs! Once I had chosen, they were in my letterbox within a couple of days. It was great having glasses to try out at home, better than being in a shop. For one, there is no sales assistant standing watching, making you feel nervous or pressured. Secondly, you can try them out with different looks – hair up or down, and different outfits if you wanted. I’d definetly recommend a home trial if you’re purchasing online.

Once I had decided on the pair I wanted to keep, I posted them all back, sent them my prescription and waited. A few days later my new pair of glasses was sat waiting for me. I love the style that I picked, even though I felt a little self-conscious at first! But I’m getting used to it, and it’s kinda nice to be able to see things clearly, and not just see a blur! The London Retro range are all fab – I’m tempted to get a couple more pairs in different styles.
