Book Love & a Giveaway

I’ve talked before about how much we all love books. I read loads as a child, as did G, and thankfully we’ve passed our love of books onto all three kiddos. From them being tiny babies, we read them stories. It’s such a special bonding time, and the love of books is such an important thing. I couldn’t imagine a home with books or a life without reading.

So when Caroline from Imagination Adventures emailed me and asked me if we would like to review a book we jumped at the chance! She has Barefoot Books in her shop, and we have several and absolutely love them. We received ‘My Mama Earth’ at the beginning of the week, and we’ve barely put it down since! It shows the love between a mama and her child, and the beauty of the world. As always, it is beautifully written and the illustrations are stunning. I really do love Barefoot Books, they are timeless stories and can be read again and again. For little ones who can’t  yet read, the pictures hold their attention  – mine all loved flicking through and telling the story just from the pictures.

Caroline has some great value bundles available in her shop – perfect gifts for your little ones this Christmas. Books are always top of my gift list, I think the love of books is one of the best gifts you can give.  I have a £10 voucher to give away for one of you to spend in Caroline’s shop – enter now, and you can pick an extra Christmas present for your little one this Christmas!

Wow, I love the illustrations in the book! I always look at the artwork in children’s stories first, before I even read them. These look beautiful!

I’d have to get Who’s in the Farmyard? My 11 month old is obsessed with animals. She’s just learning all the noises and spends most of her days ‘moo-ing’!
