Hot Spiced Apple Juice

Oh Autumn! I love this season so much… one of my favourite things about the cooler weather is drinking hot spiced apple juice. The smell and the taste are so entwined with Autumn, I look forward to the first one of the season all summer long ;) We usually make this every year for Bonfire night – perfect for warming hands and tummies when you’re stood outside in the cold.

You’ll Need:
4 cups apple juice
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup caramel sauce
1 cinnamon stick
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Place everything in a saucepan, bring to the boil. Reduce to a simmer and heat for 10 minutes.

You could easily turn this into a grown-up drink by adding a splash of rum {this one’s my favourite}

We got sent these Ozeri Moderna Artisan Series Double Wall 8 oz Thermo Glasses

, they are heat and shatter resistant, which make them perfect for my house! We put them to the test with these hot drinks, and they proved true to their word – our fingers didn’t get hot at all. I love that they have two opposing mouth-blown dimples, making it easy for little {or big} hands to hold on to them. I love the sleek, modern design of them, I think they’ll get a lot of use!
