After a summer spent in the sunshine, mostly outdoors and having *ahem* neglected my skin somewhat, it’s time to practice a little TLC. This is my go-to face mask recipe when my skin is a little dry, dull or tired looking. They are ingredients that are always in my store cupboard, nothing fancy or expensive, and it’s quick and easy to whip up when you need it.
Egg Yolk, Honey, and Olive Oil Mask
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon of honey
1 teaspoon of olive oil
Blend the ingredients in a bowl. Massage the mixture onto your skin, leave on for 15 minutes while you relax in a bubble bath. Rinse off with warm water.
I used this last night, and I woke up to a silky, smooth face – perfect :) Just be warned, you will have a yellow/orange face while it’s on so you might not want to answer the door ;)
