Review || Elemental Herbology Natural Facial Cleansers

This pregnancy has wreaked havoc on my skin. A mixture of hormones, stress and lack of sleep left me with skin that was dull, dry and spotty. I’ve been trying out the natural facial cleansers from Elemental Herbology for the past few weeks and am seriously impressed at how good they are.

I’ve mostly been using the Harmonising Cleanser, though I have also tried the Vitality Cleanser and the Cool & Clear Cleanser out too. The Harmonising Cleanser is from their Balance range; designed to balance oily areas of the skin while replenishing moisture levels and protecting the skin against free radicals. It is ideally suited to normal to combination skin.

The fantatsic thing about Elemental Herbology is that they’re totally open and honest with what is in their products. The Harmonising Cleanse is infused with 100% plant oils and you can see a full ingredients list, and an explanation of some of their patented formulas, etc on their website alongside each product. I like to know exactly what I’m putting onto my skin, and stick to natural ingredients.

The Elemental Herbology Harmonising Cleanse is a fantastic oil cleanser that feels lightweight on the skin. It surprisingly doesn’t feel very oily or greasy at all. The light texture glides over the skin and massages in so well. The Cool & Clear Cleanser is an antibacterial face wash type cleanser that gently foams to remove the skins impurities and balance the oil for a clearer, cleaner skin. I used it in the mornings when my skin was really broken out and it cleared it up amazingly.
