Treat yourself to a FlowerBe subsription

It’s grey and wet outside, the weather perfectly matching my mood. I miss summer – the blue skies, green grass and a garden full of colour. Now when I look out of the window, all I see is grey and gloom. I’m a summer gal, I need colour in my life, sunshine, warm weather, a garden full of flowers, green grass I can walk barefoot on. Without all of that, I find myself despondent, feeling like I’m trapped inside in a dull world.

Through the winter, I find it vital to keep the house stocked with fresh flowers. To bring some colour and life indoors, to deflect from what is lacking outside.  It’s rare for me to leave the supermarket without a bunch of flowers of some description.

When FlowerBe got in touch and asked if I would like to try out one of their gorgeously curated selections of flowers, I jumped at the chance. What I loved about FlowerBe when I looked at their site, was the fact that the flowers are loose and un-arranged. They arrive carefully packaged in a box, with a booklet full of inspiration for you to create your own arrangements.

FlowerBe offers a flexible service, you can sign up for regular deliveries or you can simply order as and when you would like some flowers.  Each monthly theme offers three flower selections to choose from: tall, short or a market selection. Each delivery is just £30 – and for the number of flowers that arrived in my box, I think that is fantastic value.

I really enjoyed creating my own arrangements, this time we made two – one for the living room with the taller stems, and then another for the kitchen table. The flowers were all gorgeous in the own right, and put together looked truly stunning. They were fantastic quality as well – both arrangements lasted almost two weeks in my house.

A FlowerBe subscription would make a wonderful Christmas gift – I know I’d be thrilled to find one in my stocking! Gift certificates start from £100 for three deliveries, you can see all options available here.
