Friday I’m in Love

Hurrah for Friday… it’s feeling nice and cool here after a big rain storm, the kiddos and I are having a bit of a lazy day, Kiki hurt her ankle at gymnastics yesterday, we had a five hour wait in A&E to find out it’s just really badly sprained. She can’t walk on it at all, so we’re housebound today. It was almost 10pm by the time we got home, and then had to eat {thank goodness for boyfriends who come round with curry!}

We’re planning a weekend of fancy dress sorting ahead of the Just So festival next weekend {Hai Team Fish} we are SO excited for the weekend – and being dressed up all weekend long. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed for sunshine all weekend.

I took a long, hot soak in the tub this morning – total indulgence, but felt good to just relax instead of spending the morning rushing around, especially as I’m still not sleeping very well at the minute.

Here are a few things we’re loving right now ~

* There are still tickets available for the Just So if you fancy a super fun weekend away.

* Courgette Corn Cakes with green tomato relish? Yes please!

* Beastie has been loving these Peppa Pig Vitamins from WellKid. Made for children aged between 3-7 years, the new Wellkid Peppa Pig range includes a multi-vitamin, vitamin D and Omega-3 from flaxseed, all made with delicious natural orange or strawberry flavours. I think it’s really important for littlies to have a good quality supplement, and the fact these are suitable for vegetarians is even better.

* Did you see yesterday’s blog post on finding love, anxiety and new chapters?

* I want to try this lavender lemonade recipe – it is meant ot be fantastic for headaches and anxiety.

* We’re also going to AudioFarm right at the end of the month – really looking forward to a new to us festival this year!

* If your kiddos are anything like mine, you’ll have a mountain of pictures that they have drawn for you laying around the house. We’ve just got one of these fantastic Da Vinci frames for the kitchen – a front opening frame that can store up to 50 sheets of paper, keeping all their artwork safe and making it really easy to change which one is in front on display

* The Power of Introverts

* I’m going to make some of these peanut butter no-bake granola bars to take to the festival next weekend.

* The practice of love ♥

* Follow these four agreements and life is so much easier

* Anxiety is not our enemy

Have a good weekend!
