National Nail Polish Day with Num Noms

A house full of girls means we love a good pamper night, and own a crazy amount of nail polishes! Even Beastie loves having his nails painting. Today is national Nail Polish Day and to help us celebrate Num Noms sent us one of their Nail Polish Maker to try out.

My littlest ones love Num Noms and they have been eyeing up this Nail Polish Maker for ages, so they were so excited to test it out. Thankfully, it’s super easy to set up and use, as it arrived an hour before we had to go away so we just had time to make some polish and paint our nails ready for a weekend at a festival!

The kit comes with everything you need to make 3 pots of your very own glitter nail varnish (nums) and one nom to go over the top, as well as two sets of fake nails and decals, and a little salon to paint your own nails.

You start with an empty pot, add in some glitter, the colour{s} of your choice, and then top it up with the nail polish base. The bottles twist to open so are easy even for little hands to use. Once your bottle is full, you place it in the mixer and turn the handle to mix it all together. Beastie loved doing this, and it was fun to watch the colours blend together.

The other side of the salon is a nail painting station – with finger rests, and even a donut to paint the fake nails on!

The kids had fun using the set, it would be good to have a couple of extra empty pots to fill, and the fake nails are very tiny – they are even a little small for my three year olds fingers. It’s a fun playset though, and any Num Nom fan will love it.

We were sent this kit in exchange for a review, all thoughts and opinions are our own
