Happy First Birthday Vega!!!

Happy Birthday Vega! I’m struggling to get my head around the fact you are ONE today! This year has flown by far too quickly and you’ve grown up so fast. You’ve slotted right into our little family, and we can’t imagine a world without you in it.

You’re always happy, always smiling, so happy to see your sisters, especially when you wake up in the morning. Your personality is emerging more and more every day, that cheeky little smile that has become your trademark. You have all five of us wrapped firmly around your finger, everything you do is met with giggles or applause. You are beginning to play up to that.

You love to climb the stairs, to knock on your sisters bedroom doors to go play with them {or pinch their toys}.

You mastered the art of walking this past weekend and now are tottering around the house – making you, truly, a toddler and not a baby anymore!

You love to dance, to play with your rubber ducks in the bath and to watch Cookie Monster. You love cuddles and going out for walks. You like to chase the cats around the house. Sitting at the top of the stairs, posting things down the banisters is a great game – every time you send something down you exclaim ‘oh no!’.

You shout Lola for all of the girls, and ‘all gone’ if Cookie isn’t on the TV when you go into the Living Room.

We love you so much, Mr Beastie… we’re celebrating with a little tea party this afternoon, celebrating a whole year of having you here with us. I think Mama my shed a tear or two…
