Weekending

Thankyou for all the wedding anniverary wishes – we had a fantastic day/evening. The rain held off {mostly} and we had an enjoyable evening, BBQ-ing and sitting around the fire with our friends. I didn’t make it into bed until 3am which is long past my bedtime these days, I think I’m still feeling the effects! It was worth it though, fun evenings like that are so good, and make me so thankful for all the amazingness that I have around me.

Yesterday we borrowed next doors puppy and headed back to the river for a couple of hours. It’s a Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK, meaning an extra long weekend, we’ve been to a Fair in the park this afternoon, now it’s time to sit in the garden and enjoy some sunshine! This is our last week of summer, before we get back to working and normal routines. We’re getting ready for a certain somebody’s seventh birthday this Thursday.
