Nursery Rhyme Love

nursery rhymes reading

There is something special about reading the nursery rhymes I loved as a child to my own kiddos. I remember my Mama reading them to me, playing skipping games to some in the playground, and singing them over and over again. Miss Baya loves to be read to, she can pick out quite a few words all by herself, and some of these we have read so many times she can recite them off by heart!

my book of nursery rhymes

This Personalised Nursery Rhyme book was a huge hit with her. Not only does it have her name on the front but her name is hidden in the pictures through the book! For a kiddo with an unusual name, who can never get anything with her name on in the shops, this was the best www.medsforhairloss.com thing ever!! It has all our favourite nursery rhymes in and lovely illustrations too. We’ll be packing this to keep us amused on the train when we go visit family in a couple of weeks time.

The kiddos think it’s very funny that there is a nursery rhyme ‘about’ me – Polly put the kettle on! It never seems to get any less funny to them ha! If I mention putting the kettle on to make a drink… that’s it… you can expect to hear that nursery rhyme for the next half an hour.

What is your favourite nursery rhyme? I love seesaw margery daw… I can remember sitting on my Papa’s knee, singing this!

Ah my little girl would love this! She’s obsessed with nursery rhymes at the moment and we can never get anything with her real name on it as we spelt it a different way! x

Ben has always loved nursery rhymes – particularly Hickory Dickory Dock. How lovely that it’s personalised too!

We love reading nursery rhymes too. Talitha loves London Bridge is falling down. A bit grim if you ask me!

Oooh I love nursery rhymes as much as my little man I think. I love the silly ones such as Jack and Jill and Humpty Dumpty – my little man loves The Grand Old Duke of York :)
