It’s been a busy couple of weeks, a {very} brief bit of snow caused much excitemnent, then lots more rain, hurricaine force winds, valentines goodies, pancakes, sunshine and late night trampoling!! We had family up last weekend, which was fun but by Monday we were all exhausted.

G has been busy helping a friend mend a loft hatch this week, and drawing up plans for garden furniture in the fab book he got sent {I think he was most excited about the screwdriver pencil ;) } It’s a perfect ‘bloke pad’ as it’s full of squared paper so great for making plans and measurements. It’d made a great gift if you’re stuck for something for a father/brother/male friend!

We got sent this beautiful fairytale fantasia jigsaw, the kiddos and I all love jigsaws. This is a 1000 piece, so I figured it would keep us busy for a while. We got the outside done, and about half of the inside by lunchtime, we went back after lunch to find a kitty cat asleep on a now broken puzzle! He was not the most popular cat! I’m going to have to go out and buy a jigsaw roll so we can keep it safe! We were having fun spotting characters hidden in the picture.

I’m trying to get caught up on work this week, the girls and I are going back to Lincoln next week to visit family, and the week after we’re off to Bristol for a couple of days to meet some blogger friends!

What have you been up to this week?

Sounds like a good week. Really hoping we get to meet you in a couple weeks’ time. I’m so looking forward to doing the big puzzles with my kids as they get older. Talitha’s on 50 pieces at the moment but maybe 1000 in the future. :)

Haha I love the bloke pad! And a 1000 piece jigsaw sounds hard! I am terrible at them, I can’t even do kid’s ones, not that I get much practice as I threw all Cherry’s away. The pieces were always getting lost and the rest would end up everywhere! x

I used to hate jigsaws, they’re growing on me though ;)

Love the window picture with the plants – the scarf is beautiful. Very jealous of your teeny bit of snow as well – all we had was pouring rain!
