Creating winter memories with my Fuji Instax Mini
WHile
I do wish we had more snow – it’s the only part of winter that would entice me out {albeit not for long}. Unfortunaley living in Wales we get more rain than snow.
Ocean Loans recently sent me this gorgeous Fuji Instax Mini and asked me to showcase my home and winter memories.
In the winter I love adding lots of warmth to my home – fresh flowers on the mantlepiece to bring a little sunshine, candles burning on those dark afternoons and evenings and sheepskin rugs to cosy up under. We’re lucky to have huge windows, so even on the greyest day, we still get lots of natural light coming into the house. Adding touches of colour can make a room feel so much warmer – try changing cushion covers for brightly coloured ones, or add some colourful throws {perfect for snuggling under to watch a movie}.
I always have fresh flowers in the house – especially in the winter. Seeing some beautiful blooms cheers me up and reminds me that spring will return soon! Not only will they add some sunshine, if you pick scented ones your house will smell gorgeous too!
Candles are also a must-have for me through the winter. Harsh ceiling lights don’t dreate a very warm or cosy atmosphere, I like to ping on the fairy lights and light up a tray full of candles to add a lovely soft, warm glow to the room. I loved snapping some shots with this Instax. It was quite daunting knowing I only had one shot to get the photo I wanted, but the kiddos were fascinated watching the film pop out and the photo develop!
Disclosure: This Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 was sent to me by Ocean Loans to celebrate our home and garden throughout the winter months.

I still haven’t seen Fusion, but as long at V’tosh is not used to reference all Vulcan’s in general, this seems very plausible.
