Friday I’m in Love

Happy Friday loves! I hope you have all had a good week? Mine has been good, though busy and far too long! My boyfriend and I both felt a little ill last weekend – just so, so tired and lacking any energy. That kind of carried on into the week – just extreme exhaustion, making all the things I have to do every day seem way too much.

Still, we survived and have made it through the week. Lola’s managed two weeks at school and still seems happy with her decision. The other kiddos have been getting back into ‘school work’ routines at home, and Beastie is LOVING doing his work!!

I’m trying to find the balance between work, homeschool, motherhood, a new relationship and the zillion other things I have on my plate. Some days seem to flow well, others I end up stressed and worn out by the time the kiddos are all in bed and I can finally stop for the day. I’m trying to remember to look not at each day, but at a week or a month at a time – finding balance over a bigger time scale. So some days might all be about hte kids, or about my work, or house stuff… but over the course of a week or a month, that balances out.

I’m also reminding myself that it’s alright to stop and do nothing once in a while. To just sit and watch some crappy TV with Natty, or to grab my art journal out in the middle of the day, or do some extra yoga if I’m stressed out.

Anyway… we’ve a busy weekend ahead of us {as always}, so here are a few things I’m loving this week:

* 10 relationship dealbreakers – what are yours?

* We’ve been loving these new Get More Vits drinks – a great way to boost your vitamin intake! THey taste pretty darn good too!

* 16 things to let go of to be happy ♥

* These stuffed potato pancakes sound delicious!

* I really want to watch ‘Mary and the Witch’s Flower‘ soon

* A great post on finding balance and getting off the hamster wheel

* I love Hempz products – especially the Touch of Summer gradual tanner and the Triple Moisture Body Wash

* If you’ve got toddlers the new Mightt Squeeze pouches from My Little Piccolo are the perfect snacks for on the go.

* My Doterra emotional rollerballs are some of my favourite things – I’ve been loving the ‘console‘ one the past two weeks. It’s perfect for when you’re feeling a little emotionally drained and hurt – it promotes feelings of comfort, putting you on a hopeful path of emotional healing. You can join in the oily goodness with me here, or use my enroller ID – 6534311 when you sign up via their website.

* If you’re looking to add a dose of good inspiration to your inbox each day, sign up for The Daily Good newsletter – it’s one of the highlights of my day when it arrives!

* Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram to keep up with my daily thoughts!

With that, I’m signing off for the weekend, hope you all have a good one!
