My kiddos love making things, we’re lucky enough to have a den which is pretty much our dedicated craft space, and there is always at least one person in there making something. They were super excited to receive a Gel-A-Peel Deluxe Kit, and they’ve spent most of the week making bracelets and charms.

The kit makes 100 Plus beginner bracelets or accessories and comes complete with 5 colorful Gel-a-Peel tubes, 24 templates, 7 designer tips, 2 gel trays, clear drawing sheet, squeegee, a cleaning tool as well as the fixings for earrings, headbands, and keychains. It’s easy to use and most importantly, lots of fun to use! Even my three-year-old could manage to make these, with just a little bit of help.

It’s straightforward to use – pick the template you want to use, put the drawing sheet over it and tape it to the table, then trace over the designs with the Gel-a-Peel. Some of the simpler designs dried in two hours, but we tended to leave ours overnight to be certain they were fully dry. Once they are dry, they simply peel off!

There are also some tray molds that you use to make charms, with these you simply fill the shape with Gel-a-Peel, smooth off with the squeegee and leave to dry. These can be turned into earrings or made into charms to hang on a necklace or bracelet – the kit does come with some elastic to create these.

We loved this kit – it’s kept them busy on these wet, spring days and it’s great how easy it is to make jewellery with. It’s also super easy to clean up after as any Gel-a-Peel that gets onto surfaces just peels off! All in all, we’d certainly recommend this ket – it’s the perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon.
