Not all remodelling projects have to be super expensive. There are ways to boost the value of your home by only making a few small but significant changes. In fact, it is recommended that you check the boxes on at least a few of them, especially if you are planning to sell your house anytime soon. Even if you don’t have any plans to sell your house, it will still benefit from the following ideas.

The Kitchen

Remodelling the kitchen is usually no cheap affair, but we are talking about subtle changes here that will uplift the mood of the place without breaking the bank. Find out if any of the smaller parts and accessories would benefit from being replaced or repaired. This includes the kitchen taps, cabinet door handles, and even the lighting. The Bathroom

Spend some time in planning your lighting theme and do it one room at a time to both save money and for making the project more fruitful.

A rule of the thumb to follow while remodelling on a budget is prioritizing repairs, add-ons and paint jobs above replacement. Replacement should be reserved for accessories. The key is in taking the time to figure out what you can do with the money that you have and then make the best of it.
