10 fantastic guided meditations


These past couple of months have been stressful, and while I’m trying to navigate my way out of depression, anxiety and a whole heap of issues, one thing that I’ve found has helped me is meditating.  At first, I was dubious, couldn’t see how it would help. But when the panic attacks got too much to be able to cope with, I started out trying a ten-minute guided meditation via Headspace. While ten minutes wasn’t always enough, and when the anxiety was at it’s worst, I’d sit and do the same meditation over and over until I could breathe again, it quickly became one ofthee best ways I could support myself and give myself a break from the anxiety and cycles of negative thinking.

Meditation gives me a break from the negativity in my mind and slowly helps to shifts my consciousness so that I can view life in a more positive way, which helps to eases my depression/anxiety/exhaustion.

Guided meditations are what I love, I haven’t mastered the art of meditating in silence, but there are some fantastic guided meditations available – here are ten of my favourites {all of which are free on YouTube!}

Meditating is the best gift you can give yourself right now. Even if you can only grab five minutes, grab some headphones and give yourself some ‘me time’ that will change your day.
