Dreaming of a Purrfect Christmas
One
I’ve always had cats since I was a baby, apart from a couple of years when I was first married and hadn’t gotten my own way yet! Cats really do make a house a home, and I’m sure they enjoy the festive season just as much as we do.
I can remember the first Christmas we had our cat Gigi {who sadly vanished when I was pregnant with Beastie, I still miss him loads}. He was only a couple of months old at Christmas and spent most of December UP my Christmas tree. He’d climb up and sit right in the middle, bashing at my baubles. Thankfully, he was still so little he didn’t make the tree topple over – we just spent weeks re-hanging the baubles every day.
One of our Christmas Traditions is to hang a little stocking for our kitty cats, when the girls were little they got so excited to see what the cats had gotten on Christmas morning. It would usually be filled with a little toy mouse, some cat treats and extra special cat food for their own Christmas Dinner.
I can’t imagine a Christmas without our cats – even if they do drive me crazy sometimes, with all the bauble bashing and tinsel chewing!
This post is a collaboration with WHISKAS®, but all thoughts are my own. Check out their website for more information on their cat food and their YouTube channel for fantastic Kitten Kollege videos.
