Half Term fun with Odeon Kids

In Disney's fantasy-adventure THE BFG, directed by Steven Spielberg and based on Roald Dahl's beloved classic, a precocious 10-year old named Sophie (Ruby Barnhill) befriends the BFG (Oscar (TM) winner Mark Rylance), a Big Friendly Giant from Giant Country.

If you’re looking for something to do this half term, then how about a trip to the cinema? It can get pretty pricey taking all of my lot to the cinema… tickets, drinks, snacks for 6 soon add up. But the Odeon have a fab kids club, with screenings every weekend as well as every day this half term. ODEON Kids offers a huge range of films, which change every six to eight weeks, giving families the chance to enjoy a whole host of titles from big adventures to far-far-away lands.

Last weekend the girls and I took Beastie for his first trip to the cinema to watch The BFG. I wasn’t sure if he’d sit through an entire movie, but he loved it! He was fascinated by the biggest TV screen he’s ever seen! We even treated them all to the snack box the Odeon offer – for just £3.99 you get a drink, some sweets and a box of popcorn as well as a collectable {we got Trolls cups this time!}. With tickets costing just £2.50 this makes for a bargain trip out.

You can even book your tickets online, with no booking fee so you don’t have to worry about being disappointed if they sell out. You can book tickets and see what’s on at your local cinema online here. I’m so glad Beastie had fun, as it makes taking them all out a lot easier now we can take him with us to the cinema. I took some really cute photos of him there – but I dropped my phone yesterday and smashed the screen – here’s hoping it’s fixable so I can get those photos back.

We all had a great trip to the cinema and are hoping to go again over the half term holiday.
