3 Go-To Gift Guide for Your Female Friends

I don’t know about you, but I sometimes have a hard time deciding what to get for my friends. I mean, in theory, it should be easy, right? They are like me and have similar tastes to me. But when it is a gift, you want to have the thoughtful side to it to. Rather than just getting them something because I like it. When you take the time to think of a gift that someone will like, it means so much more. That still takes time and effort, though. Chocolates and flowers are great, but they aren’t exactly on the thoughtful scale, are they? So what are some good gift ideas that will work for pretty much any female friend? Here are a few of my thoughts.

3 Go-To Gift Guide for Your Female Friends

Kitchenware

Things for the kitchen are always a winner. Whether your bestie is the next Mary Berry or your cousin barely knows how to boil an egg, everyone uses a kitchen. So you know that something for the kitchen will get some use. It could be a set of mugs or plates. There are so many fantastic prints and fonts available for mugs these days. So you could choose them that are just right for your gal pals sense of humour. You could get baking accessories like a rolling pin or apron if they are into that. Cath Kidston has a lovely range of kitchenware that I think everyone would love.

scarves

Pashmina or Scarf

Getting clothing for a friend can be a little tricky. You might know their style but might not be 100% sure on their size in a certain brand. You don’t want to be that person that guesses and gets it wrong. Talk about awkward! So it is best to get an accessory or two that will compliment their style. Scarves or a pashmina are the best options; depending on what time of year it is. So many styles and colours available too. Make sure that you look for some money off coupons when shopping too. There are always some Banana Republic or Loft coupons online.

candles

Candles

I don’t think you can scroll through any Instagram feed and not see several images of centrepieces or mantelpieces, filled with candles. Who doesn’t love them? They are perfect as there are so many types available. You could get bright and colourful ones if your friends home is on the brighter side. There are lots of monochrome options if their home decor is more subtle. Scented candles are a winner too. Again, so many options available. I like to buy some Yankee Candles when they are in the sale and keep until the right time. I don’t know anyone that wouldn’t appreciate them.

Are there any of these that you think are good options for your friends? I’d be interested to hear what you think are good gift options for your girly friends. Let me know in the comments below.
