Family Meal Plan #2

A FAMILY MEAL PLAN

Family Meal Plan #2

Hello! I thought I’d share this week’s meal plan again. I hope you found last week’s useful. I know sometimes when I’m struggling to come up with different meal ideas I love having a nosy at what other families are actually eating, so thought I’d share our meals too. Again, as I mentioned last week, I only meal plan our main meals – breakfast is cereal/fruit/toast and lunch is usually wraps,salads,cheese,chicken and/or any leftovers from the night before.

I plan around our evening activities – so, for example, on a Monday Baya has gymnastics until 7pm and I help out at a Rainbow Unit so don’t get home until 6.40pm – so I need something that can either be made earlier in the day and heated back through OR a really quick meal! This week we’re having a pasta bake, as I can just throw it in the oven as I walk in the door. Other days when I know that we have a little more time, I can plan more time-consuming meals. Tuesday G will be home in the day, and we only have kiki’s gymnastics in the evening. So this week we’re going to make homemade burgers for dinner.

This week’s Family Meal Plan

Monday – Pasta Bake with garlic bread
Tuesday – Homemade burgers, salad and vegetable ‘chips’
Wedneday – Jacket Potatoes {will prob serve them with baked beans and cheese]
Thursday – Butternut Squash & Sweet Potato Soup, part-baked seeded bread rolls
Friday – Italian Chicken & Veg served with rice
Saturday – Pizza Night
Sunday – Roast Dinner – chicken, potatoes, brocoli, carrots, peas, roast parsnips, yorkshire puddings, gravy {YUM!}

What is on your meal plan this week?
