Beautify your walls – Desenio Posters & Art Prints

Desenio are a Swedish-based site that sell posters online. They recently got in touch to ask if I would be interested in collaborating with them. I had a quick look at their site and knew they would be a great fit for me. Since moving house, most of our walls have been bare. I had lots of art up at the old house, and while a few pieces went back up, much of it I decided wasn’t ‘right’ for this house, and also we have about three times as much wall space now so were in need of some new pieces!

The Desenio site is full of some fabulous posters, and with their UK site just launched, I spent along time choosing a few posters for my home. They have a huge choice of posters – from small 13×18’s to huge 70×100 sized posters. Prices start from as little as £2, and they have a fantastic inspriation gallery with perfect pairings to help you pick posters that would look amazing together.

I picked out a poster each for the kiddos rooms, the gorgeous feather that looks perfect on the mantlepiece in Lola’s bedroom, a cute pig for Kiki {they are her favourite animal!}, this fun Batman print for Beastie’s room and of course, a horse for Baya! I have been searching for some new art for our upstairs bathroom for a while, so I choose two posters to go in there. I love the Marc Jacob quote – ‘it would be a much more beautiful world if people did as they pleased, and not what they thought people expected of them’

I am just in love with that moon print – I have a ‘faces of the moon’ picture from Fritha’s shop so I could start quite the selection!

I love the Batman poster! Belle has something similar – just replace the word ‘Batman’ with ‘mermaid’!

Thanks for the recommendation. Most of the stuff that hangs in our house are paintings, with a few fashion illustration prints that I’ve picked up at exhibitions but I will have a look and see if there is anything rabbit based for Pip’s room. She loves rabbits!
