What we’re watching

I’m always glad of a few new series to watch on these dark, cold winter nights. If G is at work I’ll more often than not just curl up in bed and watch a show on the laptop before I fall asleep… far cosier than sitting in the living room by myself! Netflix have just announced some new premiere dates for a few of my favourite shows..

Currently I’ve just started watching Making a Murderer – a documentary in which a man is exonerated after serving 18 years for sexual assault and attempted murder and soon after convicted of murder in suspicious circumstances….I’m only 3 episodes in, but hooked so far. I’d heard so much talk about it it, I had to give it a watch.

I’m thinking of giving The Tudors a whirl as i never watched it when it first aired, and it may be just the thing to get me through my evenings!

I’m {im}patiently awaiting the new seasons of both The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Grace and Frankie. I watched the first season of Grace and Frankie last year in a matter of days {in those early baby days when I was watching TV/nursing all night long} and LOVED it. Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin star as Grace and Frankie, two women whose lives are suddenly turned upside down when their husbands reveal they are gay and leave them for each other. It was really funny and well written, and I cannot wait for more episodes!

THe girls are still hooked on My Little Pony episodes, with a few Scardey Squirrels thrown in for good measure!!
