Review | Liverpool Central Travelodge

When we took a mini break to Liverpool last week, we stayed over in the Central The Strand Travelodge. Just a stone’s trhow from the docks and Liverpool One, it was the perfecgt location for us to see the Christmas lights and do a little shopping. We usualy go to Liverpool for the day, but with the baby and wanting to stay a bit later to see all of the lights, we decided to spend the night.

We had two family rooms to accommodate the six of us. Vega and Baya shared with me, and the big girls went in with their Dad for the night. The rooms were on the same floor, though we had a room in between the two – the girls wished we were on the top floor! We often stay in Travelodges when we’ve travelled around, and they’re a great place to stay with a family. The rooms have everything you need for a night or two, the beds are comfy and they’re not expensive – great especially if like us you need two rooms!

The family rooms had a king size bed in each, and then two put up beds. I shared a king size with Beastie, and we slept really well. The girls favourite thing was probably being able to watch TV in bed!!

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and made sure we had everything that we needed. We had breakfast the next morning – always my favourite part of a hotel stay! I love that the Travelodge breakfasts are a buffet style – with cereals, fruit, yogurts, croissants and a cooked breakfast you can guarantee there will be something that everyone {even the fussiest eaters!}

We had a great stay, and it was fantastic to spend more than just a few hours in Liverpool.
